It has an earthy taste, somewhat similar to green tea, although it is less bitter and less astringent. It can also tolerate higher water temperatures as opposed to green tea, so it can be soaked for longer. Since it contains no caffeine or theine, it can be consumed at any time during the day.
Preparation:
Pour 2.5 dcl of boiling water over 1 teaspoon of leaves. For a milder taste strain after 3 to 5 minutes, and after 10 minutes if you wish for a stronger taste. Sweeten with honey if desired.
