 As of 1 July 2010 this certificate became a mandatory unified label to mark all products harvested, produced and processed in accordance with the EU Regulation on organic farming.

The “Euro-Leaf” Certificate guarantees consumers that the products labelled with it:

-         have at least 95 % of the ingredients, which are of agricultural origin, that have been farmed organically;

-         comply with the regulations of the official control system;

-         arrived in sealed packaging directly from the grower, processor or producer;

-         have a much higher quality compared to other similar products without this label;

-         do not contain GMOs (genetically modified organisms);

-         bear the name of the producer, processor, harvester or seller along with the name and code of the supervisory authority.

This certificate provides the consumers with certainty that the quality of these products is higher, as they were grown organically, without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides.
